If this will be your first time presenting at the WaterSmart Innovations conference we want to explain a little bit about how the conference is set up. We want you to have the best possible presentation so we will try to help you with as much as possible just short of standing at the podium doing your presentation for you!
You will submit all your presentation materials online. If you have any changes to your original presentation (most people will since it’s a few months away) just bring them with you to the conference on a USB drive or have them available online i.e. Dropbox, Email, Skydrive, etc.
Once you are on-site at the South Point Hotel and Casino just come up to the Speaker Ready Room (located in the Huntington Room). Our conference is completely networked so you only need to make changes in the Speaker Ready Room and it will be uploaded to our server and your presentation room simultaneously.
Since our conference is already set up you don’t need to bring any of your own equipment – and we actually prefer that you don’t. Each presentation room is set up with a desktop PC, projector, screen, wireless presentation remote, and podium with a monitor that only the presenter can see (we utilize the ‘Presenter View’ feature in Microsoft Office). You will not be able to hook up your own laptop to our system.
